Cynthia Costa, MD

Dr. Cynthia (Cindy) Costa is a vascular stroke fellowship-trained neurologist with Research Neurology Associates focusing on stroke, complicated vascular, concussion, general neurology, and headache. Affiliated with Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Dr. Costa has specialized expertise in vascular neurology, evidence-based medicine, and stroke. Over the course of her training, she was a member of the Education committee in residency, received a medical school scholarship for overcoming adversity, and was honored with the 2011 Ziegler award for excellence in neurology. She also provided training and instruction to residents and medical students and served as the stroke navigator on the O2 Optimization Committee. Dr. Costa is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, and has also presented numerous research papers in her field of study.
