Timothy Hernandez

Timothy Hernandez, MD, is a Board Certified in Internal Medicine at iMED Healthcare Associates in San Antonio.

Dr. Hernandez graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He received his medical degree and completed his internship and residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He was Chief of Medicine and Medical Director of the Medical/Surgical Intermediate Unit at Methodist Hospital from 2007 to 2009.

Dr. Hernandez serves as Chairman of the Medicine Clinical Review Committee and is also member of the Physician Resource and the Ethics Committees. Dr. Hernandez's professional affiliations include American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, TexPAC, American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine, Texas Club of Internists, and San Antonio Club of Internal Medicine.
