Sarah M Shaw, MD

Sarah Hawkins, M.D. completed her undergraduate education at Centre College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in Biology. She completed her medical education at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and trained in pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Pediatric Residency.


Dr. Hawkins is board certified in pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Greater Louisville Medical Society.


Dr. Hawkins grew up in Louisville, and returned home after her pediatric residency training in Ohio. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She now works part time to balance caring for her son and caring for her wonderful patients. She also enjoys reading and playing with her pets.
