Dr. Richard Nolan, a veteran medical practitioner with over 38 years of experience, was first introduced to lasers for spinal surgery in 1995. He transitioned their use to aesthetic medicine in 2005 when he opened Laser Skin Source in Alameda, California. Dr. Nolan began his medical career after graduating from the University of California, Irvine. He attended medical school at the California College of Medicine and went on to become a board-certified orthopedic surgeon.
Today, Dr. Nolan provides his patients with a well-rounded service menu designed to help them feel their best. In 2014, Dr. Nolan and Laser Skin Source expanded even further to offer PicoSure® and SmartSkin+™ lasers to their repertoire. PicoSure is a picoseconds laser that can deliver short pulses directly into the skin. It’s especially useful in the removal of tattoos.
Dr. Nolan also specializes in other forms of aesthetic treatments like Botox®, fillers, volumizers, and skin products.
