As a leading, board-certified family dermatologist, Eleanor Y. Ford, MD, has spent 35 years helping patients to look and feel their best. Dr. Ford treats patients of all ages at her practice, Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, in Silver Spring, Maryland. Along with diagnosing and curing skin conditions, she educates patients about how to best care for their skin. She offers treatment for conditions including acne, moles, skin cancer, eczema, and psoriasis and offers cosmetic treatments such as body contouring, Botox®, and laser hair removal.
Dr. Ford earned her bachelor’s degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her medical degree at the New Jersey Medical School and residencies in both internal medicine and dermatology at East Orange Veterans Hospital and University Hospital Newark respectively. She also served as chief resident at Howard University Hospital.
She’s a member of the Washington DC Dermatology Society, the Montgomery County Medical Society, the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Ford has been listed one of the top dermatologists in the DC Metropolitan area by consumer reporting.
