I have been an occupational therapy in the Houston area for the past 25 years. I specializes in Sensory Processing Treatment. This work includes the area of all ADHD, ADD, anxiety/depression, autism, addictions, eating disorders, social, and/or communication issues , and many other similar conditions. My practice has expanded into the arena of emotional struggles within families, couples,adults, teens, and children. I use my extensive experience with Sensory Processing Issues, along with my skills with EMDR, I have developed an effective expertise with Trauma, infidelity, marriage and family conflict, eating disorders,addictions, and other diagnoses that have been difficult to treat/master.
Imago Relationship/Couples Therapy techniques are used to help kindle connection and safety within the relationship. IMAGO is a theory that addresess how we listen, when we are triggered, get defensive, and stop listening.
My specialty in Sensory Processing work, EMDR, and IMAGO Therapy gives me the opportunity to work with a wide age range, from infants to elderly. This work is the quickest way I know of to work through trauma, disturbing behavior, and emotional struggles as well as create a safe and connection between themselves and others.
