Dr. Brittany Ransom Agee is a board-certified ophthalmologist, specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology including the medical and surgical management of ocular disease. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, a suburb just outside New Orleans. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.
She then attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans to obtain her medical degree, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Following medical school, Dr. Ransom Agee completed an internship in internal medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans. She then traveled to Dallas, Texas to complete her ophthalmology residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern and Parkland Health and Hospital System. Dr. Ransom Agee has been in private practice in Jacksonville since 2015.
Dr. Brittany Ransom Agee's specialties include cataract evaluations and surgery, blepharoplasty surgery, glaucoma management and laser treatment, diabetic eye exams and treatment, as well as dry eye management. She has received advanced training in laser-assisted cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implants, utilizing the most advanced technologies available.
