Leona is the managing partner of this business. Bill is the other co-Owner. Neither of them had ever done anything like this before, but Leona is rarely daunted by projects that may seem out of her league. The initial idea wasn't as detailed as the business has become and it wasn't that difficult to talk Bill and Martha into taking the leap required. Leona's motto has always been Phil. 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." If something is worthwhile, it's possible to do. After the first year of business, Leona's husband Robert thought she ought to be making her own ice cream. Leona is a very good cook and, in her words, loves to play with food. Experimenting with flavors is her trademark. She and her husband Robert have been married for almost 40 years and Bill and his wife Martha have been married close to 60 years. Bill & Leona were sure they could make the business partnership last, because they had a lot of years of marriage experience.
