Lomeli's

Lomeli's Mexican Food officially opened at 20 Plattsburgh Plaza on Aug. 14.   Owner and head chef Suzette Lomeli decided to open the authentic Mexican restaurant because of a lack of Mexican restaurants in the surrounding area and high praise from their food service customers.  Before Lomeli's decided to go into the restaurant business, the Lomeli's  -- sous chef Armando Martinez, hostess Erika Lomei - delivered their Mexican food to homes or catered parties.  Now after three months of renovating and redecorating the former building that once was My Greek Kitchen, they're situated in a family-oriented business and serving their family history to community members and visitors.
