Family Service of Champaign County, located in Champaign, IL is a private, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization. Founded in 1911, we are the oldest private social service agency in Champaign County. We have provided continuous service to families and individuals for more than 100 years. Our mission is to support people across generations by providing quality human services.To fulfill this mission, Family Service of Champaign County provides the following programs and services:Our Senior Resource Center provides comprehensive services to allow seniors to remain in their own homes, including Senior Counseling & Advocacy, Caregiver Support Services, Adult Protective Services, HomeCare, Meals on Wheels and Senior Transportation.Our Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) promotes, supports and coordinates senior volunteerism to 100 area non-profit organizations.Our Family Support programs support and advocate for families and individuals during times of challenge to promote successful transitions and healing through the services of Counseling, Children First and the Self-Help Center.
