Burton Sanders, MD

Burton P. Sanders, MD is a board-certified physician with more than 30 years of experience in family medicine. His medical career has taken him from the emergency room to private practice, as well as on- and off-the field as the team doctor for the Nashville Kats.

Dr. Sanders has been practicing with Sterling Primary Care since 1994 and has recently relocated his practice to our newest facility in Brentwood, TN. He received his bachelor?s degree from California State University in Long Beach and his medical degree from Autonomous University.

Dr. Sanders is an avid cyclist and speaks fluent Spanish. He enjoys working out, restoring his 67 Camaro and spending time with his three children and his wife, Sharon, of 32 years. Dr. Sanders resides in Franklin with his wife and Sophie, their Saint Bernard.
