Jason Moore, MD

Dr. Jason A. Moore received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1999 from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He earned his Medical Degree in 2005 at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, New York. Dr. Moore completed his Department of Surgery residency in 2005 and 2010 at the Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. He completed a Thoracic Surgery Fellowship in June of 2011 at the University of Florida - Shands Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. In June of 2012 he completed his Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Florida - Shands Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Moore enjoys Surgical Critical Care in addition to trauma and acute care surgery, but is trained in all aspects of surgical care including the most current minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Moore is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is Board Eligible for Critical Care.
