Kenneth VanOwen, MD

Kenneth R. VanOwen, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist with Research Neurology Associates in Kansas City, Mo. He is affiliated with Research Medical Center. In addition to his certification in general neurology, Dr. VanOwen is also board certified in sleep medicine and clinical neurophysiology. He completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology with special training in EMG, EEG, Evoked Potentials and Botox injections. Dr. VanOwen has more than 10 years of patient care experience, complemented by a strong academic and research background. He has numerous papers, abstracts and articles to his credit, and has participated in multiple research projects. Over the course of his training, he was the recipient of numerous academic honors. Dr. VanOwen is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Society of Neuroimaging.
