Hatem Megahed

Hatem S. Megahed, MD is Board Certified in Neurology, and practices at Pediatric Specialists of Texas in San Antonio.

Dr. Megahed graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

After completing his residency in neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Megahed joined the neurosurgery team at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. He also served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Neurosurgery, at University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. Following that, Dr. Megahed served as assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery and practiced pediatric neurosurgery at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.

He currently is part of the Pediatric Neurosurgery program at Pediatric Specialists of Texas and also sees patients at Methodist Children’s Hospital
