Sunil Lal, MD

Dr. Sunil K. Lal is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and completed his undergraduate training at the University of Illinois graduating in the top one percent of his class. Dr. Lal attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed a residency and Chief Residency in the field of internal medicine at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. He completed fellowship training in gastroenterology at Drexel University. Dr. Lal performs colon cancer screenings and treats disorders of the digestive system that includes organs from the esophagus to the bowel. It includes common and important conditions such as GERD (heartburn), peptic ulcers, colitis, Chron's Disease, inflammatory bowel disease, colon polyps, and pancreatitis. Dr. Lal understands how much these conditions can interfere with your daily activities and healthy lifestyle.
