Karl Stiegler, MD

Karl D. Stiegler, MD, is our staff general surgeon serving our Colleton Medical Center branch. He earned his medical doctorate from the Tulane University School of Medicine after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee. He went on to complete his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Stiegler performs general surgery procedures including, but not limited to gastrointestinal, thoracic, identification laparoscopy and endoscopy, as well as on-call trauma/burn assessment and surgery. He is a primary referral physician for dialysis vascular access.
