Kirsten Bunce, MD

Dr. Bekker joined the TriStar medical Group in November of 2010. She graduated summa cum laude from Western Michigan University majoring in Occupational Therapy. During her undergraduate tenure, she was a four-year letter-winner on the varsity volleyball team, serving as captain her senior year. She practiced as an occupational therapist for several years before returning to medical school. She received her medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina affiliated Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC. She went on to complete a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Michigan. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
