Suzan Lewis

Suzan Lewis, DO, is a highly-skilled and experienced family medicine physician. Prior to completing her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Dr. Lewis served as a United States Naval Flight Surgeon, where she acted as department head and general medical officer seeing daily medical clinic and overseeing the medical readiness of United States Marines. Dr. Lewis was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for ?Outstanding service as Squadron Flight Surgeon. She also supervised and participated in the teaching of Navy Hospital Corpsmen. Dr. Lewis also served as a student naval flight surgeon at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute and as an intern with the family medicine residency program at the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital prior to her separation from the military and completion of her training in family medicine. She is professionally affiliated with the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Lewis earned her medical degree at Midwestern University ? Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Lewis has a special interest in obstetrics and women's health and is excited to offer these services at the Murlen office.
