GC Electric Co. Inc. was started in 1959 by Harold K. Gross and Russell Cunningham. In 1961, Mr. Cunningham sold his share of the business to Harold Gross, who was the sole shareholder of the company for 35 years, until he relinquished much of his duties to his son, Michael. Michael Gross was President of G-C Electric Co. Inc. for over 20 years and carried the company into the new millennium. David Cope became Vice President of GC Electric on March 7, 2006. David Cope became President of GC Electric in 2016, and Michael Gross is currently Vice President & CEO of GC Electric Co., Inc. Our Allentown electric company has grown to include more than 60 employees.
