TAILOR

Tailor started in the Big Apple. Well, sort of, the idea for Tailor atleast. Founder/Owner Tailor Pitera moved to NYC after graduating from VCU with a Fashion Merchandising degree. After one week of turning her unpaid internship into her first fashion "career" she felt right at home. Six months later she had learned a few things. First, that NYC was too expensive to live on her sales assistant salary. Second, that she was more homesick than she cared to admit, and missed her longtime boyfriend terribly. Lastly, and most importantly, she had come to the realization that she wanted to become her own boss! Lucky for her the receptionist where she worked kept a fresh copy of Women's Wear Daily on her desk everyday. Inside Taylor came across an article that changed her entire life. No, really.. from there she decided the answer was to start her own business. She gave her notice to work, terminated her lease, made arrangements to move back in with her parents and headed home. Two jam packed years later, September 30, 2015 Tailor went live. The rest is still being written.
