Rachel Edelen, M.D.

Dr. Edelen is a board-certified, fellowship trained pediatric endocrinologist devoted to providing comprehensive endocrinology health care geared toward children. Dr.Edelen delivers a range of specific medical services, diagnosis, and treatment for type I and type II diabetes, endocrine, and thyroid disorders, stature and puberty. She has been with Monument Health for over ten years and her passion for children’s health is what drives her success.
Dr.Edelen continues her after hours care helping with local diabetes clubs, Diabetes Incorporated and the Cosmopolitan Club whose priorities in addition to improving health for people with diabetes include helping with three diabetes camps in the state. Dr Edelen is currently president of the local Black Hills medical society. Dr. Edelen is also Mom to two boys, wife to outdoor loving husband, volunteers with her sons’ school, their church; and spends her free time skiing, hiking, gardening, and listening to music.
