Matthew Wideroff, M.D.

Originally from South Florida, Dr. Wideroff and his family moved to Rapid City in 2016 after he completed his General Surgery Residency and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Iowa. Dr. Wideroff enjoys practicing a broad scope of General Surgery including breast surgery, thoracic surgery, antireflux surgery, colon and rectal surgery, as well as endocrine procedures such as thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal gland removal. He also performs gallbladder removal and both simple and complex hernia repairs. He is highly skilled with the da Vinci surgical robot and believes in its ability to improve surgical outcomes. Dr. Wideroff considers it a privilege to take care of the good people of the Black Hills community and he truly enjoys the lifestyle that this region offers.
