In network with Anthem Blue Cross and most other insurances, our Intensive Outpatient Program is truly unique, attracting clients from across the United States. First, our clients form a community in four houses near the ocean. Second, our clients take part in four individual therapy sessions, each week, with very experienced therapists who do deep work and get to the core of the developmental contributions to the symptoms. Expressive therapy is fundamental, as it allows the client to get to suppressed emotions. We then help the client deal with the skills they need to integrate back into their world, including life coaching for career, learning about healthy relationships, the development of problem-solving skills and emotional management. Recognizing anxiety and depression is a key to learning how to go towards each individual’s problem rather than avoidance patterns, which is what initiates the downward spiral that requires remedy and relief.
