Salem was founded to provide non-geologic UST (Underground Storage Tank) closure and soil drilling/sampling services to petroleum marketers in the Carolinas. We have completed over 6,500 projects in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, Florida & West Virginia over the last 28 years for that clientele and other businesses.

We have closed in-place 5,000-plus residential and commercial USTs by the Perma-Fill™ Inert Foam Process since our founding and also provide complete tank excavation services, as well as hazwaste disposal.

From 2001 onward, Salem has performed over 1,000 mold assessment/ remediation, moisture evaluation/abatement, and Indoor Air Quality (“IAQ”) testing for multi-family, condo, and commercial property management companies, as well as select residential clients.

Our Senior Principal meets all ASTM E1527-13 educational and experience requirements to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). We also do Phase II ESAs completed under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional Geologist (“PG”).
