Carrie Kim Patterson, MD

As a dedicated OB/GYN, Dr. Carrie Patterson is consistent in her efforts in advancing obstetric and gynecologic health care through her private practice based in Frisco, Texas, by offering women thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based medical guidance.
Dr. Patterson’s goal is to establish a long-term connection with each of her patients. She provides expert, individualized care during every stage of a woman’s life, from adolescent care to pregnancy, and beyond.
Dr. Patterson attended the University of Southern California as a Trustee Scholar and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She went on to complete her Master of Science in physiology and biophysics, and her medical degree from Georgetown University.
While in medical school, Dr. Patterson was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated in the top 10% of her class. She returned to Southern California to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where she received the Louis H. Smith, M.D. Humanitarian Award in 2008.
Dr. Patterson is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She holds hospital privileges at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Frisco and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Centennial. 
When not attending to patients, Dr. Patterson and her husband are busy keeping up with their twin daughters and two border collies. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, watching sports, and cheering on her beloved USC Trojans.
