Since Dr. Ryan has always taken an interest in exercise, healing, and rehabilitation, it was only natural for him to earn an undergraduate degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He also spent an extensive amount of time after college analyzing body movement patterns, by putting patients through customized physical rehabilitation programs.
When it came time for Dr. Ryan to attend chiropractic school, he earned his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. Because Dr. Ryan had extensive experience and education in exercise science and rehab, he immediately started working with professional athletes at the Safe Concussion Outcome Recovery and Education Clinic (SCORE) in San Jose, California.
Dr. Ryan continues to gain experience and expertise in chiropractic healing. His passion for helping patients to become pain-free — and remain that way — keeps him motivated to stay enrolled in continuing education courses for chiropractors. He is currently pursuing his Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board (DACRB).
