Brianna Schimp, ARNP

Brianna Schimp, ARNP, received her Doctorate in Nursing from Creighton University, where she spent time as a cardiac nurse. After five years as a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner, she joined The Iowa Clinic and is proud to work for a healthcare system that invests in its patients and providers.

Brianna chose Cardiothoracic Surgery because she simply loves cardiac and the patient population. She takes pride in assisting patients during the entire scope of their heart and lung surgery. Patient satisfaction and positive outcomes are the most rewarding parts of her job.
