George T Calvert, MD

George T. Calvert, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in surgical treatment of soft tissue and bone tumors, percutaneous bone tumor management, limb salvage orthopedic surgery, as well as minimally invasive techniques. He also is actively involved in clinical research to explore new, state-of-the-art treatment options for bone cancer patients.

He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Calvert completed fellowships in joint reconstruction at the Wellington School of Medicine, New Zealand, and was a sarcoma advanced research and clinical fellow at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Institute, Salt Lake City.

A native of Louisville, Dr. Calvert is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology and Musculoskeletal Tumor Society.
