Charles H Crawford, III, MD

Dr. Crawford is a Louisville native and takes great pride in providing world-class spine care to both the local people of the regions, as well as those that travel great distances to the Leatherman Spine Center.  After finishing at the top of his medical school class, Dr. Crawford matched into the very competitive Orthopaedic Surgery Residency program at the University of Louisville.  From there he continued his Spine Surgery Fellowship training at the prestigious Washington University in St. Louis.  He felt very fortunate to join the prestigious Leatherman Spine Center team in 2009. 

Since then he has continued to pursue his passion for improving spine patient care through his busy day to day clinical practice, as well as his teaching and research at both the Leatherman Spine Center and the University of Louisville Department of Orthopaedic Surgery where he serves as an Associate Professor.  His clinical focus is the surgical treatment of all forms of spine pathology in both children and adults.
