Dr. Vicuna joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers in September 2007 and is the current medical director of the medical oncology treatment center located at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center. He sits on the Research Executive Committee for Comprehensive and US Oncology Research as well as the co-chair for the Summerlin Hospital Cancer Committee. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and Rotation Coordinator for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at UNLV School of Medicine.
Dr. Vicuna has received numerous awards and accolades including Top Doctors by Castle Connolly and Vegas Seven as well as Medical Marvels by Nevada Business Magazine and Top 10 Doctor Award by Vitals.com. In 2018, Dr. Vicuna was awarded the UNLV School of Medicine Resident’s Choice Award for excellence in education and training. He has also been recognized by The American Registry as America’s Most Honored Professionals.
