Chris Crawford, MD

Dr. Chris Crawford is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in the full range of dermatologic care from medical to surgical to cosmetic. He is an expert in facial injectables/rejuvenation, skin cancer screenings, and treating acne while improving overall facial complexion. A highly trained expert in his field, Dr. Crawford has been honored in publications such as D Magazine’s “Best Doctors in Dallas,” Texas Monthly’s “Super Doctors,” and “Best Doctors in America.” He’s also had the honor of serving as the team dermatologist for the Texas Rangers since 2005.

Dr. Crawford caters to patients of all ages and skin types, providing innovative, evidence-based treatments in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Understanding each individual patient’s concerns while building a personal relationship is an important aspect of Dr. Crawford’s practice. Along with providing superior medical care, his extensive training and knowledge in the anatomy of the face allow him to skillfully perform cosmetic treatments. When introducing injectables to your cosmetic regimen, Dr. Crawford suggests that “… it’s best to start small and conservatively and add as you need to for the most natural looking result.”

In addition to being a respected member of the American Board of Dermatology and the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, Dr. Crawford is an active affiliate of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and the Dallas Dermatological Society.

Dr. Crawford received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Mid-America Nazarene College in Olathe, Kan. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Crawford completed his internship at Hennepin County Medical Center and residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota. Dallas Associated Dermatologists is a member of the elite Platinum Dermatology Partners network and Dr. Crawford is a member of the all-physician Clinical Advisory Board.

In his free time, Dr. Crawford enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
