Jacob (Hakob) Davtyan, MD

Dr. Jacob Davtyan is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon who joined St. Francis Cardiovascular and Thoracic Institute in 2016. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine and is an Emory Clinic physician. He serves as Medical Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at St Francis. He specializes in the surgical treatment of complex and advanced disorders of the heart, lungs, and chest. He obtained his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA. He completed his residency in General Surgery at UCLA School of Medicine and his Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.
