Dr. Raphael P. Davis was trained by Dr. Leonard Mallis, one of the "fathers" of modern micro neurosurgery. Dr. Davis has been performing microsurgical procedures for over 28 years. His surgical expertise includes the treatment of skull base tumors (pituitary tumors and acoustic neuromas), brain tumors, as well as complex spinal surgery. He has performed over 8200 operations during his career. Dr. Davis has held the position of Chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery since 1998. Dr. Davis also serves as Co-Director of the Neurosciences Institute.
