Imaginative Counseling: Rachel Smith, LPC

While lists of credentials and experience are important, I know that they can also be intimidating, and overly clinical. With that in mind, I would like to tell you a bit about me as a person, first! After all, if we work together, it won t be because of some seminar I attended it will be because we like each other!
I believe it is important for my clients to know that my career as a counselor has been a lifetime in the making. I am no stranger to heartache and sorrow, which helps me to understand my clients with the deep knowing that comes from having lived it yourself. I believe in the power of good psychotherapy, meditation, and yoga to change lives, because they have changed mine. I love my work, and I would love to learn about you, and help you to change your life for the better!
