Nilgun T. Zimakas, MD, Pediatrician

Dr. Nilgun Zimakas is a pediatrician at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM. She specializes in adolescent care, pediatrics, and refugee and immigrant health. Her research interest includes quality improvement.Dr. Zimakas views her role as a guide and support to patients and families through the many joys and challenges of childhood and adolescence while monitoring physical and mental health.
