Kevin Maguire, MD. FACS

Kevin Maguire, MD, joined The University of Vermont Medical Center as a plastic surgeon and the division chief of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery in March of 2016. He also currently serves as an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM.

Dr. Maguire is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with honor degrees in both biochemistry and microbiology. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Following his training in general surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, he completed his plastic surgery residency and a fellowship in both hand surgery and microsurgery at the University of Chicago. Additionally, Dr. Maguire is a decorated retired veteran of the US Army Reserve, having earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal and the Army Service Ribbon during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

As an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Maguire offers the UVM Medical Center community more than 20 years of expertise as an attending physician in reconstructive plastic surgery, surgery of the hand and in cosmetic surgery.
