James R. Ulager, MD, Family Medicine Physician

The Medical Director of Hinesburg Family Health, Dr. Ulager works to treat the whole patient. He has special interests in the care of children and families, focusing on preventive visits for children and adults. He particularly enjoys working with patients to prevent and manage high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease with diet and exercise, with an emphasis on healthy food systems.

As an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the UVM College of Medicine, Dr. Ulager is actively involved in medical student education.
