Boone-Ritter Insurance Service Co. was formed in Springdale, AR on March 16, 1968 when life long friends Joe ?Sandy? Boone and James Ritter merged their two agencies to form one full service independent insurance agency.

The agency wrote mostly life insurance until 1975 when Larry Clinkscales was brought in as a third partner. Larry had spent several years in the insurance business and was able to grow the property and casualty side of the agency. By 1988, Larry had purchased the entire agency and developed it into one of the largest small commercial business writers in the area.

After working in the agency for 12 years, in 2002 Bryan Clinkscales purchased the agency. In 2007, Bryan purchased Northwest Arkansas Insurance Agency in Siloam Springs, AR. In 2014, JMR Insurance in Cabot, AR was purchased to help expand the agency into the Central Arkansas market.

Currently, the agency writes business in several states with the main focus on Commercial Insurance. The agency has increased its focus on Personal Insurance and Employee Benefits as well as continuing to offer group health insurance and life insurance.
