Yasir El-Sherif, MD, PhD

Double board certified in both neurology and epilepsy, Yasir El-Sherif, MD, joined Northwell Health in 2015 and serves as the Director of Stroke Services at Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. El-Sherif earned his medical degree at St Georges University School of Medicine and completed both his neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn
Dr. El-Sherif’s clinical focus include epilepsy and general neurology. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine.
