Dr. Flaherty completed her fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Hematology/Oncology in 2015 and moved to Phoenix to join IMS. Throughout her fellowship she focused on Genitourinary cancers and presented posters at GU ASCO but for her private practice she has been seeing all patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnosis.
Prior to her fellowship, Dr. Flaherty was a chief resident in charge of the internal medicine residency program at UT Health Science Center in Houston. She also worked on publications and presentations pertaining to genitourinary malignancies.
Dr. Flaherty joined Arizona Oncology in 2016 and treats many types of cancers including but not limited to breast, prostate, lymphoma along with other benign blood disorders.
