Welcome to my profile!I am a Bariatric and General surgeon, fellowship trained in Bariatrics and Minimally invasive surgery as well as Surgical Critical Care. My areas of interest include bariatric (weight loss surgery), foregut, and general surgery procedures including gallbladder, appendix, colon, hernias, anti-reflux surgery, paraesophageal hernias, gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, etc. I use minimally invasive techniques using laparoscopy and/or robotics as I find the recovery after these procedures is shorter and cause less pain for my patients than open surgery.I am a proponent of bariatric surgery, and really believe patients can take control of their health and achieve their weight loss goals. In qualifying patients who are motivated, bariatric surgery can be life changing and help patients keep the weight off permanently with lifestyle changes. In our comprehensive program, patients are equipped with the tools necessary to make those important lifestyle changes that help keep the weight off for good.
