Ed has serviced home and industrial sewing machines for over 48 years. North Shore Sew and Vac has worked for Singer, Sears, Kenmore, and has owned two stores that sold and serviced White and Elna sewing machines. Ed has been to Viking, Bernina and Pfaff schools and is certified for each. He has serviced industrial sewing machines in factories for over 20 years: starting with Buxton Wallet in Aguam, MA; Metro Pants, a division of the Melvil Corp. in Virginia; Star Sportsware in Lynn, MA a division of London Fog; Porter Sewing Machines in Beverly, MA; Dominico in Lynn, MA; Mighty-Mac in Gloucester, MA as head mechanic; and Grico Brothers, Lawrence, MA. Ed can fix most makes and models of home and industrial sewing machines.
