I am a Lee County native and graduate of Pennington High School, class of 1989. I am an alumnus of the University of Virginia, Milligan College, Missouri State University, the University of Arkansas and Capella University. I've spent the better part of my adult career working for some of the leading Fortune 500 companies in the Midwest serving in various positions in management and engineering. In 2004 when RC Shelton retired from the insurance business I relocated back to my home town and stepped in as the new owner and primary agent at Shelton Insurance Agency. I believe in giving back to the community and participate in several community programs and for the last two years have served as the President of the Lee County Chamber of Commerce. My agency has been serving Lee County since 1954 by building safety nets under our clients' assets and helping to rebuild lives when the unexpected occurs. Since 2004 we have grown exponentially in both personal and commercial lines by offering innovative solutions and the protection you need from national carriers but with service you expect from a local firm. My agency has been recognized for its leadership by Nationwide at the state level, as well as, the national level, most recently receiving the Champion Award in recognition of our commitment to our customers.
