Dr. Joel Groft's vision and mission for the Athens Chirpractic Healthcare is to provide the community with a conservative health care option that focuses not only on the patient's health care problems, but how the patient and doctor can work together to help the patient reach their health care goals and live a life of general well being. Our doctor has had extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of general muscular-skeletal injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle. Patient care generally consists of chiropractic manipulative adjustments, therapeutic modalities, specific rehabilitative exercise programs, manual muscular therapies, and prescriptive home exercise programs. Patients may also receive counseling pertaining to nutrition and the use of dietary supplements or over the counter medications.
