*Electric Vehicle Outlet Installation
You will need a home charging station. Sol West Power’s EVITP trained and certified technicians can easily and quickly outfit your home with the correct charging station. Enjoying the convenience of a home charging station means you can always leave home topped up! Combining residential solar energy in your home with the use of an electric vehicle charging station you can use the sun to power your vehicle.

Meet the Team:

Josh began joining his dad on his electrical work calls. He soon discovered this was a sure fit. He began his journeyman electrical certificate at SIAST in 1997 and received his journeyman’s card from SAIT in 2001. He began working in both residential, commercial and Industrial industries in Saskatchewan and Alberta. For many years he worked on a variety of projects from residential houses to schools and hospitals, mines, and oil and gas. Renewables was always his passion and in 2015 he realized the industry has reached a point where the economics for the regular person has caught up. Now everyone can take part not only to help the planet but to come out ahead in the pocket book too. It was time to put the years of experience into the right focus . Already having his Master Electrician certification; In the spring of 2016 Josh became certified with the Solar Energy Society of Alberta as a qualified Photovoltaic System Design and Modelling technician. He is also a certified technician with EVITP, Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program, which qualifies him to provide you all your EV charging needs. Josh is also a member of CARST (Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists). This credential allows him to accurately assess your home for radon levels, as well as perform the necessary mitigation measures as indicated and recommend in the Canadian guidelines and National Building Code (NBC). With decades of experience and watching the direction of this industry, transitioning to solar was a natural progression.

As an entrepreneur from the age of 5 Christina has both taught herself and formally learned the many sides of business ownership and management. As a current multiple business owner she knows how deeply she thrives on the many facets of business and carries the attributes it takes to make the magic happen.

Early 2016 Josh and Christina started thinking deeply about how to genuinely do what they love and provide a desired service to keep the environment and their family’s future in mind.
