Dr. Kostas is a chiropractor licensed in the state of Georgia, and has been treating patients in Smyrna, Georgia for over 18 years. Dr. Kostas attended Michigan State University, graduating with a B.S. degree in 1976, and attended Life Chiropractic College where he graduated with honors in 1981, earning the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. Unlike Medical doctors whose education concerns all areas of the human body, Chiropractic focuses on the spine, and its associated neurological structures, and muscle groups. The degree at Life Chiropractic College received by Dr. Kostas consisted of 2,887 hours of classroom study, 1,598 hours of clinical studies, including kinesiology, toxicology, spinal adjusting and skeletal manipulation, over a three-year period.
