Commando Lighting and Grip is an exciting new concept for location lighting for film, and HD video in Dallas and North Texas. Commando features all of the lighting and grip equipment that is essential to every shoot all on one truck, making set up a breeze.
Darrel Tawney, who is a 20-year veteran Gaffer and Lighting Director, started Commando in 2007. He has vast experience in feature films as a Grip, Electrician, Rigging Gaffer, Best Boy Electric, and First and Second Unit Gaffer. He has also worked as a Lighting Director for Television and has many years of experience in commercials and industrials. Darrel is available as a Gaffer-Driver or can work in other positions for your production such as Key Grip or Grip-Electrician.
