Brown Jr., M.D., M.P.H., is a neurologist at Mayo Clinic's Rochester, Minnesota campus, with subspecialty expertise in stroke and cerebrovascular disease. Interests include cerebrovascular diseases, ischemic stroke and transient ischemic attack, intracranial aneurysms, intracranial vascular malformations, cavernous malformations, arteriovenous malformations, central nervous system vasculitis, stroke prevention, and evaluation and management of all other neurological disorders.

Dr. Brown has been active in stroke-cerebrovascular disease research for over 30 years. He served as principal investigator and on the executive committee and steering committees for many NIH-funded research studies. He also has a long-standing interest in education of residents and fellows, and presenting on cerebrovascular diseases for other health care providers.
