At Major Consult Clinic we strive to provide high quality healthcare for all of our patients in a timely and respectful manner. Dr. Chibuzo Ukaegbu, MD MPH is the medical director of Major Consult Clinic and is board certified in family medicine with other qualifications as a buprenorphine trained physician, certified medical examiner for DOT fitness-for-duty exams, and a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO). Major Consult Clinic was established with the goal of providing comprehensive primary healthcare to every person in our community. We provide management of acute and chronic diseases as well as health screening and preventive medicine We also provide other specialty services including 1. Buprenorphine (suboxone) maintenance therapy for individuals with opioid (opiate or narcotic) dependence/addiction. 2. Medical examination (fitness-for-duty exam) for commercial motor vehicle drivers (e.g., drivers with CDL) conducted in accordance with regulations of the Department of transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). 3. Medical Review Officer (MRO) services via workplace drug testing programs for businesses regulated by DOT, federal agencies, state agencies, federal and state employees as well as for non-regulated businesses. 4. Medically supervised weight loss program for Obese and overweight patients who desire to lose weight through lifestyle interventions (healthy diet choices and optimal exercise/physical activity) and FDA approved diet medications.
