Jane Henry Studios, established in 1989, is a full-service antique restoration business, located in New York City’s Greenwich Village. Jane specializes in gilding restoration, conservation and the reproduction of antique gilding, Asian lacquer restoration, and Chinoiserie. She has broad experience in restoring painted finishes, verre eglomise and mirror silvering. Her work with wood includes: staining and finishing, French polishing and wax finishes, veneer repair, specialty finishes and structural repairs on European and American antiques, as well as Twentieth Century Modern furniture. We work on small and large scale projects from an heirloom, to fine antiques, to the hotel/service industry!
